In 2021, I found myself with an overabundance of produce. Rather than simply giving it away, which is indeed a generous endeavor, I began to ponder how I could turn this bounty into something more meaningful and impactful. The idea to establish Pine Street Farm to Table was born that winter. Meticulously, I followed all the necessary steps to form a legitimate business, laying the groundwork for what was to come.
The first milestone came in 2022 when I opened our first roadside farm stand at the end of our driveway. I integrated my passion for baking, particularly my love for making sourdough bread, into the offerings. To my delight, it was a resounding success! The farm stand not only provided a platform for selling our produce but also became a wonderful way to connect with the community. I met numerous people, forged new friendships, and garnered support from local residents who appreciated the homegrown, organic produce, flowers from the yard, baked goods, and, of course, the sourdough bread.
Operating the farm stand exclusively from July through September each year, I have cultivated a loyal following. The relationships built during these sunny months have extended beyond the growing season. Throughout the fall, winter, and early spring, I continue to bake fresh sourdough bread for my clients, delivering it to their homes, ensuring that the bond with our community remains strong year-round.
In 2023, seeking further growth, I decided to open our Greenhouse for a one-day plant sale. The response was overwhelmingly positive, confirming that there was indeed a demand for our offerings. This success motivated me to continue expanding our operations.
By 2025, our efforts had paid off remarkably. We managed to double our profits from the Greenhouse sale, a testament to the growing recognition and trust in Pine Street Farm to Table. The journey, from an overabundance of produce to a flourishing business, has been incredibly rewarding. It is heartening to see the impact of our hard work on the community and the support we have received in return.
As we look to the future, the vision for Pine Street Farm to Table remains rooted in providing high-quality, organic produce and baked goods, fostering community relationships, and continuing to grow and evolve. The seasons may change, but the dedication to our mission remains steadfast.

An asset to the community, the stand is very professional yet warm and welcoming. The display is well organized, tidy and clean. They have a wide array of unique varieties of tomatoes, cucumbers, summer squash, and other freshly picked vegetables, a generous selection of delicious fresh home-made baked goods (including the best sourdough bread!), homemade jams, and even unique spice blends. I can't forget the stunning fresh-cut flowers! The prices are reasonable for what you are getting.
